Description: Our client is currently seeking a RN Float Pool ICU Nurse

Weekly Pay Breakdown

• Hourly Pay: $27 ($972.00)
• Housing Stipend: $861.00
• Meals and Incidentals: $602.00
• Total Gross Pay: $2,435.00
  
  

Duties and Responsibilities: Registered Nurse responsibilities include:

• Facilitating communication and collaboration among healthcare team members and patients/families.
• Assessing patients' physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Developing and implementing care plans while ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Performing therapeutic/diagnostic interventions, such as IV administration, wound care, medication delivery, and catheterization.
• Educating patients and families based on learning readiness and preferences.
• Advocating for patient health, safety, and rights.
• Delivering culturally respectful and relationship-based care.
• Delegating tasks appropriately within regulatory guidelines.
• Managing resources efficiently and fostering quality care.
• Participating in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and research initiatives.
• Maintaining professional development through ongoing learning and skill updates.
  
  

Skills Required

• Minimum of 1-year experience preferred.
• Competency in nursing skills specific to specialty.
  
  

Float Requirements

• Floating may include duties beyond initial job scope, as per Centura policies.
• Assignments may change, centralized in Colorado Springs float zone city center.
  
  

Education & Certifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Licenses: State RN license or NLC-participating state license required.
• Certifications:
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification
• PALS (required for KS locations only)
  

Schedule Details

• Start Date: 04/21/2025
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Hours Per Day: 12
• Shift: 12-hour nights (Zone 1) Note : No home unit or facility. Floating is centralized, with assignments subject to change per schedule.
